Teri is a Registered Physiotherapist with degrees from Wilfred Laurier University (Bachelor of Science Biology) and the University of Alberta (Masters in Physical Therapy). Upon graduating, she found interest in orthopaedic physiotherapy. Teri is particularly interested in manual therapy and intramuscular stimulation (IMS). She has completed numerous manual therapy courses including the Mulligan concept, Modern MSK spinal manipulation, and various levels of the advanced integrated musculoskeletal physiotherapy program. She is rostered to perform spinal manipulation and intramuscular stimulation (IMS). Her interest in orthopedics and sports medicine has led her to treat a variety of age groups and injuries including motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, TMJ, concussions, and other neuromuscular dysfunction. Teri strongly believes in finding the root cause of your injury and conducts her assessments and treatments by considering the body as a whole. She implements a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, intramuscular stimulation, and exercise therapy to restore function and prevent further injuries.
