Growing up in a small town groomed me for a life filled with sports- baseball, basketball, badminton, dance, volleyball and the list goes on! I was always active, and enjoyed being outdoors, and because of that ended up needing a lot of physical therapy in the process. Volleyball ended up being the sport I pursued, and was fortunate to compete at the provincial, national, and eventually collegiate level at the University of Calgary where I obtained my Bachelor's degree. I have been working as a physiotherapist in Lethbridge since I graduated from University of Alberta with a Master’s in Physiotherapy in the fall of 2015, and have since completed many other postgraduate certifications including advanced manual therapy, dry needling, and clinical pilates. These days my interests include hiking, biking, running, lifting weights, and spending time with my husband, two kids, and extended family.
I consider my treatment to be exercise and movement focused, with a strong manual therapy component to help you reach your movement goals. Although I do have a special interest in the athletic population, anyone that is motivated to reach their movement and fitness goals are my specialty.
