Sheyi earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ibadan in year 2000, and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of London, UK; he has practiced physiotherapy in Canada since 2005 starting in Northern British Columbia.
His gentle, personable and soft-spoken approach is reputed to put patients to rest in his care. Sheyi has practiced physiotherapy in various areas and fields of practice and brings an understanding of the context of injuries and their care from childhood to old age. He uses manual therapy techniques to relieve pain, restore joints biomechanics and restore muscle and soft tissue function to enhance your quality of life; he is commonly found to use Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and Myofascial Ball Release in his practice. He is licensed by Alberta’s College of Physiotherapist to order musculoskeletal diagnostic imaging for patients in his care.
