Shelby completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy Degree in 2017 from the University of Alberta. Prior to completing this degree, she also completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences and a Certificate in Community and Disability Rehabilitation.

Throughout her Masters Degree, she worked with the Leduc Junior Athletic Club, Hockey Alberta and the Okanagan Hockey Academy in men’s hockey, as well as the University of Alberta’s Wrestling program. She has most recently worked with the development team for Canada’s National Speed Skating team and through her work with sport, Shelby has achieved her Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy. She greatly enjoys treating sports related injuries of all levels - recreational level athletes, elite athletes, and weekend warriors.

Along with her clinical practice, Shelby has achieved her Diploma in Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy. She is currently a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) and certified in Advanced Clinical Practice, IMS dry needling, Sport Physiotherapy, Sport First Responder, K-taping, and soft tissue release. With these skills, Shelby enjoys treating TMJ dysfunction, neck, mid-back and low back pain, hip pain and concussions. She looks forward to enhancing her skills with Evidence Sport and Spine.

Outside of physiotherapy, you will find Shelby enjoying life with her husband and son, out hiking, at the dog park with her two dogs, and training and racing in Ironman triathlon events around the world.
