Sheila is a highly experienced physiotherapist who enjoys working with a wide range of clients—whether it's helping an athlete train for their next summit or assisting someone in returning to daily activities, like putting on a jacket without pain. She has worked with many different athletes up Olympic and professional levels. She is committed to a client-centered, evidence-based approach that blends education, targeted exercise, and hands-on therapy for holistic care.
She holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta, graduating in 2011. Since then, she has pursued extensive post-graduate education to ensure she provides the highest standard of care to her clients. Sheila is FCAMPT-certified, having earned her Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She is also certified in Functional Dry Needling (IMS), vestibular rehabilitation, concussion and headache management and diagnostic imaging. Sheila is actively involved in mentoring and educating physiotherapy and kinesiology students across several academic institutions. She has also collaborated closely with orthopaedic surgeons, particularly in the post-operative care and assessment of knee injuries.
Outside of the clinic, Sheila stays active by running, hiking, mountain biking and skiing —all while keeping up with her two children.
