Mitchell is a dedicated physiotherapist who enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions using a well-rounded approach that includes injury education, hands-on therapy, and targeted exercise. He believes in a patient-centred model of care that is grounded in the latest research, helping individuals achieve their functional goals and return to the activities they love.
He has a special interest in knee and shoulder rehabilitation and takes pride in helping patients recover from both acute injuries and long-standing issues in these areas.
Growing up involved in various competitive sports, Mitchell developed an early appreciation for the benefits of physical activity—a passion he now strives to share with each of his patients. Whether it’s recovering from injury or improving performance, he focuses on empowering clients through movement and education.
Mitchell completed both his Bachelor of Science and Research Certificate in Kinesiology, as well as his Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy, at the University of Alberta. He is currently advancing his post-graduate training through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopaedic Division and has completed additional coursework in hip and knee rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, Mitchell enjoys staying active outdoors from snowboarding and playing hockey in the winter, to rock climbing and golfing during the summer months.
