With over 20 years of experience in multiple settings from acute care hospitals to private practice, she has taken a variety of post graduate courses to maintain and update her skills. Some of these courses include manual therapy, muscle energy techniques, soft tissue mobilization, Sahrmann technique, athletic taping, acupuncture, and Gokavi Transverse Technique (dry needling), vestibular therapy and concussion physical therapy. Her treatments incorporate soft tissue techniques, joint and neural (nerve) mobilizations, modalities, exercise and education with a goal of improving quality of life. Melinda enjoys treating a multitude of injuries and conditions.
When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying active through outdoor recreation.
