Meaghan finished her undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Manitoba in 2002. Since then, she has done extensive continuing education on multiple topics, including a Doctorate of Physical Therapy through Evidence in Motion in 2014, a Sport Physiotherapy Diploma, and a Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy. She also holds certifications in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), ConnectTherapyTM, acupuncture and dry needling.
Meaghan uses the ConnectTherapyTM assessment framework to assess complex patients in order to direct treatment at the appropriate area(s) for that patient, enhancing treatment outcomes by looking at and treating the whole body. She has volunteered as a sport physio for many different National and International sporting events, including various Canada Games and international figure skating competitions, has had the opportunity to travel to China for the Youth Olympic Games as a member of the medical team for Team Canada, and actively travels internationally with Skate Canada.
Outside of work she enjoys figure skating, karate, and yoga.
