Mark was born and raised in Calgary and graduated from Mount Royal University with a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education before completing his Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree at the University of Alberta. He has been with Momentum Health Deerfoot since opening in 2021 and enjoys working with patients across Calgary and area.

Mark has completed post-graduate training including Level 1 and Level 2 Functional Dry Needling, Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Management, Level 1 Orthopedic Manual Therapy, GLA:D Hip and Knee Certification and Neurokinetic Therapy Level 1. He has a special interest in working with patients with TMJ dysfunction, shoulder pain and those in motor vehicle accidents (MVAs).

In partnership with the Physiatrists at Kinesis Medical Centre, Mark is also involved in developing and implementing collaborative clinical assessment models to increase access to care for patients with longstanding pain or injuries.

Outside of the clinic, Mark is a Level 5 Softball Canada umpire, instructor and evaluator and enjoys his time spent at the ball diamond or taking his dog, Smudge, for a walk.
