Before starting my career in physiotherapy, I was an athlete competing in both indoor and beach volleyball, which sparked my interest in sports rehabilitation. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Arts in Human Kinetics, both from the University of Ottawa, followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of individuals across various ages and activity levels, from high-performance athletes to those just beginning their fitness journey. I’ve worked closely with athletes, including volleyball players, WHL officials, and runners, helping them recover, prevent injuries, and perform at their best. I also have experience working with individuals managing neurological conditions, such as strokes or brain injuries/concussions, as well as those experiencing jaw pain. Above all, I strive to help people of all backgrounds stay active or get active—because the human body was made to move.
Outside of my professional life, I am deeply committed to living an active lifestyle. Whether it’s hiking, running, weight training, or mountain biking, I’m always seeking ways to challenge myself physically and enjoy the outdoors. These activities keep me grounded and remind me of the incredible benefits of movement, a philosophy I bring into my work with clients every day.
My approach to physiotherapy is simple: I want to empower you to take charge of your recovery, move better, feel better, and get back to doing the things you love. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or looking to improve your fitness, I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way.
