Jen was born and raised in the small town of Goderich located in southwest Ontario where she grew up playing club volleyball and competitive softball. Following her passion for biology and physiology, she ventured to London, earning a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Western Ontario.
Her academic pursuits led her to Alberta, where she delved deeper into her studies, attaining a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2013.
Since then, Jen has been a dedicated practitioner, serving communities across Central Alberta with a focus on private practice. Continuously striving for excellence, she has augmented her expertise through numerous post-graduate courses, including Pelvic Health, Diagnostic Imaging, Acupuncture, Functional Dry Needling (FDN or IMS), Spinal Manipulation, and Peripheral Manipulation.
Jen's passion lies in the holistic treatment of various conditions, from chronic headaches to hip pain, utilizing a hands-on approach and personalized exercise prescriptions. She finds particular fulfillment in guiding women through their prenatal and postpartum journeys, empowering them for labor, delivery, and return to activity.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Jen maintains an active lifestyle, finding enjoyment in workouts and running. Her greatest joy comes from cherishing moments with her two young children and her family.
