Jennifer is a dedicated Physiotherapist with over 10 years of patient care experience. She is a 2015 graduate of the University of Manitoba's Master of Physical Therapy Program. She utilizes an individualized approach to treatment that combines manual therapy, dry needling, exercise prescription, electrical modalities, instrument assisted soft tissue work, and patient education. Jennifer is skilled in treating muscle and ligament strains, sports injuries, osteoarthritis, whiplash, and post-surgical rehabilitation. She is proficient in managing complex spine and radiating nerve pain, as well as acute and chronic knee injuries.
Jennifer holds an Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Diploma from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). She is a registered mentor for students within the program. Jennifer is authorized to order diagnostic imaging following completion of post-graduate studies at the University of Alberta and is certified through WorkWell to perform functional capacity evaluations. She enjoys contributing as a clinical instructor for U of A physiotherapy students undergoing orthopaedic rotations.
Alongside continual professional development and evidence-based practice, Jennifer focuses on building genuine connections with patients by helping them feel comfortable and supported in every step of their rehabilitation. She is committed to helping patients tackle the hard stuff through clear explanations, skill, and a little bit of encouragement!
From 2021 to 2025, Jennifer served as Clinic Director at Lifemark Physiotherapy Springborough, where she successfully led the multidisciplinary team and was recognized with several leadership awards for her contributions to clinic management and team development, all while maintaining an active physiotherapy practice.
Jennifer contributed to the 2022 Delphi Conference for the MSK Acute Knee Injury Assessment Initiative, a project aimed at improving knee care access, navigation, and consistency of care for patients in Alberta. From 2017 to 2021, she was Team Lead of the Lifemark Knee Clinic in collaboration with Banff Sport Medicine, where she conducted assessments and research on post-operative knee surgeries, including ACL and MPFL reconstructions.
Jennifer enjoys athletics such as downhill and cross-country skiing, mountain biking, volleyball, golfing, and hiking. She is a self-proclaimed Foodie and enjoys cooking and going out to eat in Calgary with her family and friends.
