Jacalyn has been in the rehabilitation science field for over 15 years. After retiring from high performance sport, Jacalyn started her passion for sports medicine at McMaster University, where she gained her first experience in the field as a student Strength & Conditioning Coach during her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Therapy from the University of Manitoba and later completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta. In addition to her academic and clinical background, Jacalyn is certified through Acupuncture Canada to provide medical acupuncture, and is authorized by the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta to perform spinal manipulations, as well as male and female internal pelvic floor examinations. She uses her extensive knowledge of human movement and rehabilitation to help patients of all backgrounds reach their goals—whether that’s recovering from injury, improving performance, or maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle.
