Florence graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Honours Physiology. Since then, she has pursued various postgraduate courses to enhance her practice. She has completed the Certificate Program in Medical Acupuncture (University of Alberta) and the Level 3 components of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manual Manipulative Physiotherapy (Canadian Physiotherapy Association). Florence has also completed courses in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (The Robin McKenzie Institute Canada), upper quadrant procedures in the Mulligan Concept, and the Sahrmann program of Diagnosis and Treatment of Movement System Impairment Syndromes (Canadian Physiotherapy Association).
Florence has practiced in different clinical settings (hospital, work conditioning centre, and private practice). Her areas of special interest are acupuncture and chronic pain. With over 20 yrs of experience & a holistic view of wellness, her goal is to achieve and maintain your therapeutic success through quality care, education, self-management and laughter.
