Emily was born and raised in Calgary where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary, she then went on to complete her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Emily is also certified in Intramuscular Stimulation/Dry Needling. Emily takes a combined approach of therapeutic exercise with hands-on manual therapy techniques, including soft tissue mobilization and IMS to promote optimal recovery for her patients. She is passionate about helping individuals regain their function and improve their quality of life through tailored treatment plans. With a commitment to ongoing learning and patient-centered care, Emily strives to empower her patients on their journey to recovery. With her fair share of sport-related injuries in her youth, she values taking an activity specific and functional approach to rehabilitation, getting her patients back to doing what they love!
In her free time, Emily enjoys working out at the gym, hiking and paddle-boarding in the mountains.
