Hi! My name is David. My journey to becoming a physiotherapist began with a lifelong passion for sports and my own experiences as an athlete. Competing at a young age sparked my fascination with the human body—how it adapts, strengthens, and evolves based on our lifestyles and activities. Through my own injuries, I was introduced to physiotherapy early on, which deepened my curiosity about movement, recovery, and performance.

While competing as a varsity-level sprinter on the University of Alberta Track and Field Team, I saw firsthand how essential personalized physiotherapy treatments were for optimizing high-level training and ensuring efficient recovery. These experiences deepened my passion for understanding how to enhance the body’s performance and recovery.

My practice focuses on patient education and empowerment. I understand the importance of movement for every individual and recognize that each situation is unique. Drawing from my own experiences, I believe in not just treating injuries but equipping patients with the tools for long-term health and wellness. I have worked with diverse patient populations, ranging from individuals recovering from hip replacements to high-level athletes returning from injuries.

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll often find me losing on chess.com or enjoying recreational sports like hockey, volleyball, softball, or skiing.
