Cindy Coneen graduated from UBC in 1984 and has been practicing in Sherwood Park for almost 17 years. She owns Global Physiotherapy which will celebrate 10 years in Sherwood Park in 2024. She was a military physiotherapist and has worked in B.C., Ontario, and Quebec prior to moving to Alberta in 2007. Cindy continually upgrades her knowledge and skills to provide a global approach to treating muscle, nerve and joint pain. She uses her in-depth training and experience as an FCAMPT: Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists to assess and treat new injuries due to sports and life as well as more long-standing pain and mobility problems. Cindy's treatment options include advanced manual and manipulative therapy, laser therapy, Gunn IMS - intramuscular stimulation, medical acupuncture, functional movements, corrective exercise programs, and more. Cindy is an adult athlete who enjoys running, cycling, strength training, speed skating, swimming, and travel. She utilizes her knowledge of training periodization to empower her patients to get active and stay injury-free.
