Christina is a registered physiotherapist who grew up in Edmonton and completed her physiotherapy training at the University of Toronto in 2012. She has spent most of her career working in hospitals, care facilities, home care, and private clinics in Vancouver, BC, as well as assisting with neurological physiotherapy research at UBC. Most recently, Christina worked at Holy Family Hospital, one of BC’s largest rehabilitation centres, where she focused on stroke rehabilitation.
She has completed additional training in neurological and orthopaedic physiotherapy, including:
- Stroke and brain injury (including the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association (NDTA) Certificate Course in Stroke and Brain Injury, as well as other NDTA and Bobath courses)
- Parkinson’s disease (including Neuroplasticity in Parkinson’s Level 2 Certification)
- Orthopaedics (including Manual Therapy Level 2 Upper & Lower Quadrant Diploma courses)
- Other areas such as balance disorders and chronic pain
Christina is passionate about helping empower older adults to achieve their goals while also making therapy as fun and rewarding as possible.
