Alex has over 35 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy. She graduated from the university of Alberta, but went back to university in 2014 to get her post graduate certificate in Multidisciplinary Pain Management. She has taught non-pharmacological pain management techniques provincially, nationally, and internationally. She is the only physiotherapist to be a Fellow of the Canadian federation of hypnosis, now the Alberta division. She is a comfort talk trainer, and is dedicated to improving the patient experience. Alex is a member of the planning committee for the Pain Society of Alberta, and is on the executive committee for the Pain Science Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
